Temecula Laser Skin Resurfacing

One of the most frequently misunderstood ideas in cosmetic surgery is that facial wrinkles come from smoking (smokers lines) but are really the result of several other factors. They are, of course, part of the aging process and unlike skin looseness, really define and are associated with aging, especially when they occur around the lips and mouth. Wrinkles mostly develop because of genetic factors. If our parents have wrinkles, it’s more than likely that we will develop them. The laser is more accurate in the treatment of wrinkles than any peel or skin care thus far developed because the depth of skin required to remove the wrinkles can be measured and the proper laser energy applied.

Besides being effective, the laser is also very safe. It is not considered a surgery because there are no incisions made and the treatment is usually performed under local anesthesia so it’s similar to a trip to the dentist. And unlike surgery, skin care for the laser treated areas is required so there is some down time but patients feel it is worth it because of the great improvement the laser brings. While there is some down time, the laser can be combined with other cosmetic surgery procedures of the face including face lifts, brow lifts and eye lid surgery.
