Abdominoplasty 03

The patient is a 36 year old nurse who complained that her stomach stuck out over the front and that she had a lip of skin that hung down over her undergarments that made wearing form fitting clothing difficult in that area. A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) helped return her stomach to its youthful shape with better lines. The torso should appear as one cosmetic unit with smooth contours to achieve a youthful look. Suction of the hips also was used to create a smaller horizontal width to the lower part of the abdomen and to make the patient look less “hippy”.
