The patient is a 34 year old woman who noted the small size of her breasts and wished to go from an A to a C cup size. She was interested in 375 cc. saline implants. The morning of surgery the size was confirmed by the patient and the patient was marked for a 375 cc. implant and the patient was taken to surgery and a sizer was used to measure the volume that would be required to fill the space an get the breast implant volume out to the edges of the natural breast to optimize cleavage, upper pole fullness and breast projection while at the same time conforming to the shape of the patient’s torso. 385 cc. was used for the right and 370 cc. was used for the left breast to create symmetry.
The patient was very happy with her cosmetic result with soft and symmetrical breasts and with good shape including good projection, good lower and upper pole fullness with good lines, and cleavage.
