What can I expect after laser skin resurfacing?

Your specific skin type, the severity of any sun damage, the extent of pigmentation, fine lines, coarse wrinkling or deep acne scarring each may require a different approach for treatment.
You should come to the consultation prepared to discuss your medical history. Please tell your plastic surgeon if you have ever had an x-ray treatment of your facial skin, commonly used in the treatment of acne or if you have had a prior chemical peeling procedure. Is laser skin resurfacing right for me?
Skin resurfacing is a one-time treatment, but can require touch-ups over time. It differs from peels offered by aestheticians as those treatments only remove dead skin and pigment, while our resurfacing technique actually removes living surface skin that is wrinkled.
