Dr. Olito heads Orion Anesthesia Consultants, Inc. which provides board certified anesthesiologist services for the Inland Valley. The group’s home base is at The Loma Linda University Medical Center, Murrieta and they provide board certified anesthesiologists for the Hospital and for nearby outpatient surgical facilities, including Dr. Newman’s Surgery Center. She is a past Medical Director for Loma Linda University Medical Center Murrieta. She attended College of Osteopathic Medicine-Pacific for her medical school training and did her Internship and Residency in Anesthesia at UCLA Medical Center. Her current duties at Loma Linda include being the Chairman of the Medical Executive Committee. Personal interests include hiking, mountaineering and mountain climbing.
Dr. Baker grew up in Pensacola Florida and attended The University of Arkansas for his college. He attended The Uniformed Services University for Health Sciences for Medical School and Anesthesia Residency. He was a flight surgeon and Head of Surgical Services while he was a Navy Officer in Guam. He currently provides anesthesia services for Dr. Newman’s Surgery Center. Personal interests include taking care of his many children.
Dr. Eto, one of the youngest members of the anesthesiology department, has been working with Dr. Newman since 2012. She studied medicine in Boston at Tufts University Medical Center and became a doctor in 2005. Her anesthesiology training was done at UCLA Medical Center where, besides scoring the highest in her residency class on a yearly exam, she also met her future husband.
Following her training in anesthesiology, she was awarded the opportunity for additional training and certification at UCLA Medical Center in cardiac anesthesiology. Following her fellowship, she worked in the Los Angeles area in private practice at Torrance Memorial Medical Center as well as academic practice at UCLA-Harbor Medical Center. As a faculty member at UCLA-Harbor she instructed the next generation of anesthesia residents in all types of anesthetics including major trauma and open heart surgeries.
Currently besides performing anesthesia for cosmetic surgery, she provides anesthesia for complex open heart surgeries at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Murrieta. At a personal level, she enjoys hiking, movies, and time with her family. Patients and colleagues always comment on Jamie’s warm demeanor, conscientious attention to detail, and gentle treatment of her patients.
Dr. Keyes was born in East Tennessee and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University in 1998. After college he spent a year teaching English in the Amazon jungle of Ecuador. For medical school he attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX where he developed an interest in anesthesiology as a career. For his anesthesia training, he attended UCLA’s residency program and was elected chief resident in 2006. Best of all, at UCLA he met his future wife who is also currently an anesthesiologist too. Following his training program, he worked 5 years in Los Angeles before moving to Temecula in 2012 to work at the new Loma Linda Murrieta Medical Center. At that time he met Dr. Newman, and they have worked together ever since. His personal interests include hiking, biking, traveling, music (piano and guitar) and time spent with his family which now includes a son, dog and cat.
