Eyelid Surgery 21

This patient had upper eyelid surgery with a face lift. Excess skin was removed from her upper eyelids and a small amount of fat was also removed from the inner part of the upper eyelid area. The was very pleased with her new look after surgery. When fat is removed from the upper lid, care must be taken not to remove too much because this can lead to a skeletonized, unnatural appearance. Retaining some fat helps to keep a youthful appearance. Eyelid surgery is a short procedure and when added to a face lift, great improvement can be added. The eyes then “go” with the face as both are more youthful.
