The patient is a 66 year old woman who felt that she had lost definition in the upper eyelid area. She didn’t think she had excess skin. She had upper eyelid surgery only and was very happy with her cosmetic result. Even patients with minimal skin excess of the upper lid can benefit from upper eyelid surgery because this procedure creates a sharper lid crease which creates a youthful lid appearance.
